China is now facing a transition chance, but it is also indicated that the environmental pollution of China foundry industry is severe comparatively. The developmental trends of Chinese foundry industry are formulated, namely large-scale, lightweight, accurate, digitization, networked and greenized. Around its developing trends, it is indicated that the sustainable development of Chinese foundry industry can be realized from foundry technology, raw and accessory materials, reclamation and recycling of waste, environmental protection and assessment method and indicators of green foundry.
