Abstract
A new maize cultivar,Hengdan 456,was developed by Institute of Dry-land Agiculture,Hebei Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences,with H146 as female and H145 as male parent respectively.The hybrid performs high yield,early mature,multi-resistant to disease and wider adoption.The variety is much suitable to Tianjin summer maize region.
