Research and application of Modbus/TCP communication on S7-PLC

Abstract

Based on the study of Modbus/TCP protocol and the resource of communication and compilation in S7-PLC,the feasibility of Modbus/TCP Communication on S7-PLC System is analyzed,the abstract model of application is established.When the analysis for data frame of request and response is analyzed,and the structure of user program on application layer of the Modbus/ TCP protocol is established,the design of communication with Modbus/TCP protocol between on S7-PLC is realized.The application of Modbus/TCP communication on S7-PLC in hydropower plant is introduced,the several-year successful application verifies the feasibility of Modbus/TCP communication on S7-PLC.
