Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Erigeron Injection for acute cerebral infarction(ACI) and its influence on expresions of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18 and solution cell adhesion molecule-1 in peripheral blood of patients with ACI. Methods Sixty-nine patients with ACI were randomly divided intotreated group and the conventional control group, expression of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18 was measuredby flow cytometry(FCM), the expression of solution cell adhesion molecule-1 were measured serially with two-layer antibody sandwich ELISA before and after treatment . Results Expressions of adhesion moleculesCD11b/CD18 and solution cell adhesion molecule-1 in the patients before treatment were all obviously higherthan those in the normal control group(p0.05). The total curative effect in the treated group weresignificantly higher than in the contral group. All the two parameters were significantly decreased aftertreatment, and the lowering in the treated group was more significant than in the control group(p0.05).Conclusion The effection of Erigeron Injection on ACI patients may relate to its action in down-regulatingthe expression of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18 and solution cell adhesion molecule-1 ,allevating theinflammatory injury of central nervous system.
