Abstract

[Objective] To explore the relation between adhesion function and change of expression of cell adhesion molecules CD18, CD54 with acute cerebral infarction (ACI). [Methods] With flow cell method (FCM), to detect occurrence time, place, area and expression of leukocyte adhesion molecules CD18, CD54 in 88 acute cerebral infarction patients with 30 controls, before and after treatment. [Results] The expression of CDI8, CD54 with acute cerebral infarction (ACI) increases obviously. It is significantly different from that of the controls (P0.05) and not correlated with occurrence place and area. The change of CD18, CD54 before and after treatment is significant (P0.05). The levels of the expression increase in seven days and decrease after ten days. [Conclusion] CD18, CD54 might take part in occurrence of ACI pathology process and can be additional diagnosis inder for ACI.
