Abstract
The 1,2-bis( 2'-cyanoethoxy) ethane Amine was synthesized by Michael addition reaction of ethylene glycol and acrylonitrile using tetrabutylammonium iodide as phase transfer catalyst. The product chemical structure was characterized by FT-IR,MS and1HNMR. The influence of raw material ratio, reaction temperature and base catalyst type on the synthesis reaction were investigated. The results showed that the conversion rate of the starting material was up to 87% as the conditions as followed: solid NaOH as catalyst, molar ratio of ethylene glycol to acrylonitrile 1∶ 2. 1 and reaction temperature 50 ℃.
