The Chinese Medical Treatment on Hyperthyroidism Combined with Abnormal Liver Function

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Decoction of Shu-gan Qing-ying on hyperthyroidism combined with abnormal liver function.Methods:60 cases with hyperthyroidism combined with abnormal liver function were divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The cases in the two groups were in the treatment of hyperthyroidism as the foundation.The cases in control group were treated with routine western medicine to protect liver,and the ones in treatment group were treated with Decoction of Shu-gan Qingying.Then the effects of the two groups were compared with.Results:In treatment group 11 cases were excellent,16 ones effective,and 3 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 90%.In control group 5 cases were excellent,14 ones effective,and 11 ones ineffective.The total effective rate was 60.0%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P 0.05).After two months' treatment,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and total bilirubin(TBIL) were significantly lower in treatment group than those in control group(P 0.05).And in treatment group TT3,TT4,FT3 and FT4 were significantly lower than those in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion:Decoction of Shu-gan Qing-ying has good and reliable curative effect on hyperthyroidism combined with abnormal liver function,and less adverse reactions.
