Abstract
The fly ash and FGD gypsum as the object of study are taking from the Guizhou Nayong Thermal Power Plant.Different quantities of FGD gypsum are used to obtain the mixed-gypsum fly ash,then the engineering characteristics of fly ash with different quantities of gypsum mixed are studied via compaction test,compression test,and direct shear test.Comparing with pure fiy ash,the trends of influence of different quantities of gypsum mixed on deformation and strength characteristics of fly ash are also obtained.The paper offers the proportion of fly ash and FGD gypsum in practical engineering.
