On the Transcendence of Humanism Orientation to the Skill Orientation of Vocational Education

The vocational education appears to be more utilitarian to lay its emphasis on providing support forthe local economic development and neglects the core function of promoting the development of the human. From the perspective of the goal of talent training,the vocational education attaches more attention on developing the students'technology rather than their comprehensive qualities. Based on the present situation of the vocational education,theproblem of how to develop such kind of education is studied. The value of people-oriented higher vocational education should be implemented thoroughly so as to stride across the gap between humanism orientation and skill orientation.
