Abstract

Objective To study the clinical significance of detecting serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP).Methods The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP were detected among 74 patients with AP,including 32 patients with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP) and 42 patients with mild acute pancreatitis(MAP),and compared with those of 40 healthy subjects in the control group. Results The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP of the patients in both groups were higher than those in the control group(P0.01).The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP of the patients in the SAP group were higher than those in the MAP group(P0.01).The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6 of the patients in MAP group had direct correlation with those of the SAP group(P0.01).Conclusion The detection of serum levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP plays an important role in diagnosing and treating patients with AP.
