Abstract
A mathematical model from physical mechanism,and practical datum is presented in this artical in accordance with the reheating furnace of Middle sized Rolling and Cutting Steel Plant in Tang Shan Iron and Steel Company,which is based on the structures and the technical performance of the furnace,the conduction of thermal energy in the billet and the mathematical model of the wall heat abstraction.The model was simulated by computer and can give different fuel consumption curve according to different output.The conclusion in this article can be used as an important reference in the optimal mathematical model control of reheating furnace.
