Clinical observation of efficacy of ribavirin sparay on hand-foot-and-mouth disease

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ribavirin spray in treatment of hand-foot-and-mouth disease.Methods 126 Children with hand-foot-and-mouth disease were randomly divided into the control group of 58 cases and the treatment group of 68 cases.The treatment group was given ribavirin spray,the control group was given anti-virus oral.Observed the time of bring down fever,initiative feed,fauces department ulcer cicatrization and hand foot skin rash retrogression.Results The time respetively in the treatment group was shorter than control group,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).But there was no significant difference between the two groups in rash retrogression time(P0.05).Conclusions Ribavirin spray has better effect to use for hand-foot-and-mouth disease.
