Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoershuangjinqingre Oral liquid combined with ribavirin in treatment of children with ordinary type hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD). Methods All of the 50 cases with HFMD were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 25 cases in each group. The control group was treated by ribavirin, the treatment group was treated by Xiaoershuangjinqingre oral liquid on the basis of ribavirin. Then the clinical manifestations were observed and analyzed. Results The significantly efficient rate (76.0%) and the total effective rate (92.0%) in treatment group were higher than that of control group (the significantly efficient rate was 48.0% and the total effective rate was 72.0%)(P 0.05). The treatment group had significantly shortened the regression time in the fever, rash and oral herpes fading away compared with the control group (P 0.05). Conclusion There is a significant antiviral, antipyretic and improving the symptoms effect by using Xiaoershuangjinqingre oral liquid combined with ribavirin in treatment of children with common type of hand-foot-mouth disease, which is worth to populate and apply.
