Abstract

Currently,the technique of GIS has been applied extensively in earthquake science studies realms,such as earthquake forecasts,earthquake disaster prediction and earthquake zoning,which has greatly enhanced the science level of the earthquake prevention and disaster reduction in China..From now on,Web GIS,Open GIS and three dimensions GIS will become the great trend and development direction of the use of GIS in earthquake prevention and disaster reduction.
