The Value of the Color Doppler Ultrasound Prenatal Diagnosing Fetal Single Umbilical Artery

Objective To evaluate the value of the Color Doppler Ultrasound prenatal diagnosing fetal single umbilical artery.Methods To application of routine prenatal diagnosis scanning the fetus with abnormal umbilical.Then scan the fetal malformation and the fetal size when the fetus with single umbilical artery.To measurement the blood flow velocity of umbilical artery and S/D.To determine the consistent with the gestational age and the fetal size.Results The 31 cases of single umbilical artery in our hospital,the 15 cases with other malformations,the 9 cases with abnormal blood flow parameters of umbilical artery,the 6 cases which the fetal size is smaller than gestational age.The 31 cases are conf irmed by the induction of labor.Conclusion The Color Doppler Ultrasound has high accuracy and specif icity prenatal diagnosing fetal single umbilical artery.Single umbilical artery is closely related with congenital malformations and other genetic diseases.Prenatal ultrasonography is important to reduce perinatal mortality rate and to improve the quality of life of the fetus for fetal single umbilical artery.
