Abstract
The effects of sulphur on grain protein content, starch content and were investigated on three cultivars with different qualities under the different amounts of nitrogen conditions. The results showed that sulphur influenced grain protein content and starch content under the condition of nitrogen amount of 60kg/hm2 and 128 kg/hm2 urea.On high nitrogen level(N128),sulphur applications tended to increase grain protein content, especially to the cultivars with high grain protein. The ratio between the amylose and amylopectin was reduced by sulphur. The result indicated that sulphur application could improve the quality of grain starch compositions.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
