Abstract
The effects of sulphur on accumulation of grain amylose of three cultivars with different quality were investigated under different levels of nitrogen. The results showed that the initial aggregation of grain amylose was found in later about 5~(th)-10~(th)day post anthesis in spring wheat, but its final accumulation amount was low.The dynamic accumulation trends of amylose were almost identical in the different sulphur treatments under the same nitrogen level. The dynamic accumulation of amylose in all cultivars was increased during the period of grain filling. The effects of sulphur on final content of grain amylose were based on certain amount of nitrogen application, and the sulphur had positive effect on wheat quality to reduce the content of grain amylose under higher nitrogen application(Ns_(128)).
