Abstract
Objective To observe and analyze the role of clinical pathway management in improving medical quality. Methods 230 patients in internal medicine-cardiovascular department of our hospital from July to December 2012 were chosen as the research object. The patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The observation group of 120 cases were taken with clinical nursing pathway management model, the control group of 110 cases were taken with routine clinical nursing management. Results The clinical nursing work satisfaction degree of the observation group of patients was 94.2%,and the control group was 83.6%.There were significant dif ferences compared in the two groups(P 0.01).The observation group of patients for understanding disease and vari ous kinds of treatment programs were significantly higher than that in control group patients.Compared between the two groups, there were significant differences(P 0.01).The average length of hospital stay in the observation group was shorter than the control group patients, there were statistical differences compared in the two groups(P 0.01).Conclusion The implementation of clinical pathway management can improve the satisfaction of patients for treatment nursing, make patients'understanding of the disease deep, and shorten hospitalization time.It has an important clinical application value for the improvement of the overall quality of care in medical institution.
