Abstract
Shen Congwen is known as a writer with unique style in modern Chinese literary history. In his writing, Shen uses a creative technique called focusing narrative mode, which makes his works artistically reasonable and also reduces the subjective tendency on the part of the reader. Such a style makes Shen a prominent figure in modern Chinese literature.
