Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression difference between non-small cell lung carcinoma and pericytes and its relationship with tumor occurrence and metastasis. Methods We collected clinical specimens of non-small cell lung cancer and normal lung tissue which about 5cm nearby the carcinoma(both included 50 cases), another 20 cases of benign lesions were collected in the study. Finally, we dectected and compared the expression level of T-cadherin in the tissues which we collected. The comparison table included the item of lymph node metastasis(yes or not), tumor differentiation degree, TMN tumor stage and the type of lung cancer. Results The T-cadherin expression level was statistically significant(P0.05)in comparison between lung carcinoma tissues and benign lesions; the expression level show the p value(P0.05) in lymph node metastasis(yes or not) of nonsmall cell lung cancer tissues; on the contrary, there was no statistical difference in the positive expression rate of T-cadherin in the high and middle differentiation and low differentiation of non small cell lung cancer(P0.05); the positive expression rate of Tcadherin had statistical difference in the TNM I and TNM Ⅱnon-small cell lung cancer tissues(P0.05). the positive expression rate of T-cadherin in the TNM Ⅱnon-small cell lung cancer tissues has no statistical difference compared with that in TNM Ⅲ,IV non-small cell lung cancer tissues(P 0.05); the positive expression rate of T-cadherin in squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma tissues shows statistically difference(P 0.05). Conclusions The positive expression rate of T-cadherin in non small cell lung cancer tissues was significantly lower, and had negative correlation with the occurrence and metastasis of tumor. The down-regulated expression of T-cadherin in non small cell lung cancer tissues was associated with TNM stage and lymph node metastasis and had correlation with adenocarcinoma occurrence.
