Abstract
[Objective]To study the expression of E-cadherin in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and its significance.[Methods]Used immunohistochemistry of SP,60 cases NSCLC and 20 cases normal lung were examined.[Results]The expressive positive rate of E-cadherin was 35.0% in NSCLC and 85.0% in normal lung tissues,a significant difference was observed between the two groups(P﹤0.05). In the group with and without lymph node metastasis, the rate was 21.6% and 56.5% respectively, the difference was significant(P﹤0.05). The expression of E-cadherin in NSCLC was related to its differentiation and TNM stage(P﹤0.05)and not related to age,sex and pathological type.[Conclusion]E-cadherin is likely related to the carcinogenesis, differentiation grades,TNM stage and metastasis.
