Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of atorvastatin on blood lipids and plasma inflammatory cytokines in patients with unstable angina.METHODS:64 cases of unstable angina patients were randomly divided into atorvastatin group and control group.2 groups of patients after admission in accordance with unstable angina treatment regimens for treatment, atorvastatin group based on those and combined with atorvastatin 20 mg·d-1 every night before bed,oral,8 weeks.RESULTS:atorvastatin group after 8 weeks,TC,TG,LDL-C level than before treatment was significantly decreased(P0.05),HDL-C level increased significantly compared with those before treatment(P0.05),while the control group before and after treatment in both groups showed no significant change(P0.05).2 groups of hs-CRP and TNF-α level than before treatment was significantly decreased(P0.05 or P0.01),and the effects of atorvastatin group than in the control group decreased more obviously(P0.05).CONCLUSION:Atorvastatin has lipid-lowering,anti-inflammatory effect, can improve the blood vessels within the plaque inflammation, has good cardiovascular protective effect.
