Abstract
Taking account of the characteristics of power load and the applications of AGC units in Zhejiang power grid, a practical design of real-time generation control system based on super-short-term load forecasting is presented. With this control system, the target for improving the level of ACE(area control error) control is realized by modifying the commitment to all the generation units in real time. Super-short-term load forecasting methods applied in Zhejiang power grid and the architecture of this control system are introduced. It shows that this control system is practical and can be used in other power grid likewise.
