Abstract

【Objective】The different insecticides in Xinjiang were studied to provide scientific basis for the chemical control of Erythroneura apicalis Nawa.【Method】The toxicity of two pesticides to 3rd instar larvae of Erythroneura apicalis Nawa were determined in room by leaf-dip method.Several insecticides were tested in field.【Result】The results showed that imidacloprid and thiamethoxam had higher activities, their LC50 were 46.26 μg/mL,19.31 μg/mL respectively. The results of field trial indicated that all of four insecticides including 10% WP imidacloprid,25% WG thiamethoxam,25% pymetrozine WP and 99% mineral oil had better control effects on Erythroneura apicalis Nawa, and 10% WP imidacloprid,25% WG thiamethoxam had longer persistence against the insect, their controlling efficiency were 100% after 7 days.【Conclusion】Based on the results of toxicity tests and field trials,25%pymetrozine WP and 99% mineral oil could be recommended for controlling Erythroneura apicalis Nawa.
