Abstract
The current method of measuring Young's modulus is increasing same amount of tension each pull, measuring deformation of wire, and then Young's modulus of wire is obtained.New method uses theory of standing wave, controling deformation of wire artificially, measuring basis frequency of wire to obtain its tension, and then Young's modulus of wire is obtained. The distingui-shing feature of this method is simple operation and accurate measuring.
