Abstract
The Xisha River Bridge,381 m in total length,is a highway bridge on Chongqing-Hunan Expressway in the boundaries of Chongqing and is composed of two parts of main bridge and south approach spans,of which the main bridge is a half-through concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge with net span length 190 m.In this paper, the bridge type alternative comparison and selection, arch rib design, design technique innovations and steel structure corrosion protection of the main bridge are dealt with.
