ANALYSIS OF THE CANCER INCIDENCE STATUS IN ZHANGGONG DISTRICT OF JIANGXI PROVINCE IN 2009

[Objective]To know the cancer incidence situation in Zhanggong district of Jiangxi Province in 2009,and provide evidence for local cancer control and prevention.[Methods]The data came from Zhanggong District cancer registry.The incidence rate and incidence sequence of cancer were analyzed.[Results]The crude incidence rate was 194.89/100 000 in 2009.The age-standardized incidence rate of cancer in male was 170.64/100 000,which was higher than female(124.44/100 000),the incidence rate raised up from the age of 35.The common cancers ranked top 5 in male were lung cancer,liver cancer colon cancer,stomach cancer,and esophagus cancer.The common cancers ranked top 5 in female were breast cancer,lung cancer,colon cancer,stomach cancer and cervix cancer.The cancer incidence rate in city street was higher than in the town.[Conclusion]The lung cancer,liver cancer,breast cancer and colon cancer became the common cancers in Zhanggong district,health education should be developed,and the early diagnosis and treatment measures in high-risk population should be taken.
