Clinical observation of astragalus in treatment of heart failure in 102 cases with chronic pulmonary heart disease

Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of astragalus injection in treatment of heart failure in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease.Methods:One hundred and two patients were randomly divided into normal control group and treatment group.Complex therapy was used in both normal control group and treatment group routinely,while daily astragalus injection was added in treatment group,and 1014 days as a therapeutic course.Blood gases and blood rheology were measured before and after therapy.Results:Treatment group was better than normal control group significantly in both the marked effective rate and the total effective rate(all P 0 05).Conclusions:Astragalus can improve clinical treatment effect of heart failure in patients with chronic pulmonary heart disease and astragalus treatment is effective.
