Abstract
In order to alleviate the tension of agricultural water using and seek for the proper water-saving irrigation mode suitable for main crops in mountainous area of Hebei province,the present situation of water resources in mountainous area of Hebei province is analyzed.Through field investigation and collecting correlative data,the development situation and trend of farmland irrigation from 1980 to 2003 in the research district is analyzed from the aspects of irrigation area,mode and water quantity.Moreover,taking the main irrigation crops as examples,the variation of water-saving irrigation area,crops yield and irrigation water production efficiency under different irrigation mode is compared,and the irrigation mode with the effect of water-saving and high production is gained.
