The Realization of Campus Network Flow Monitor Based on MRTG

Abstract

This article discussed the basic principle for realization of network flow monitor by MRTG.Through deploying MRTG in the campus network,the in and out network flow monitor of network equipments,such as switch and core router,has been realized.Based on the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of network flow monitor map,the actual data for network flow of normal state can be carried on.It has very good instructive signification for regarding network breakdown.
