Abstract
Network flow monitor is the major task of network security management,and is an important side of scaling network performance entirely.Based on the research on topology structure of electronic government network,this paper designs a flow monitor solution using the open source software MRTG.Through a method of real time collection to key equipment's performance parameters,analyze the existence of abnormal flow in the network,provide a basis for arranging network security equipments.Comparing with the large-scale network management software,this solution is very active and simple and cheap.It can be viewed by anyone,anytime,anywhere at the same time.
