Abstract
Aluminum Conductor Composite Core is a brand new conductor for overhead lines.Its advantages are light weight,high strength,good thermal stability,low sag,large ampacity and corrosion resistance.Through the performance comparison to the common Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced(ACSR)conductor and the introduction of its first application in Nantong network,the construction and operation of ACCC are researched,as well as the problems emerging in the application.
