Abstract

This thesis mainly investigates the adverb 连 and its usage of emghasizing and comparing.This thesis describes the grammaticalization process from substantive 连 to adverb 连 on the point of Chinese language history.Comparing and analyzing some similar words that express the meaning of emphasizing and comparing,the thesis will detailedly analyze the origin and its grammaticalization process of adverb 连.
