A Study on the Selection of Marine Leading Industries in Zhejiang Province——Based on the Perspective of Construction of National Marine Economy Demonstrating Plots

Abstract

The reasonable choice of marine leading industries will be of great importance to the development of regional marineeconomy and the national economy. The paper,using the data during the year of 2008 to 2012 from China Marine StatisticalYearbook,establishes index system to identify leading industries by means of AHP,then the leading industries are chosen byprincipal component analysis. Marine fishery,seaside tourism and marine shipbuilding industry should be selected as threeleading industries of Zhejiang marine economy. The paper also puts forward some suggestions on rational development of Zheji-ang marine leading industries.
