This article takes Chinese Miao Family Museum in Fenghuang Shanjiang as an example,discussing the relationship between cultural heritage and museums from the perspective of recognition.As an important form of collection,research,display and dissemination of Miao cultural heritage,Miao museum shows the Miao ethnic,national power and the world's multiple identity patterns of Miao cultural identity.All these provide new visions and reference methods to preserve cultural heritage,protect cultural diversity and promote human society's harmony and development.
