Clinical Study of Foreign Bodies in Trachea and Bronchus in 359 Cases

Objective:To analyse the clinical character and explore the improvement of treating foreign bodies in trachea and bronchus.Methods: retrospectively analyse 359 cases of foreign bodies in trachea and bronchus.Results: Foreign bodies in trachea and bronchus were the most common in children aged 1~2 years old(67.7%).Nut and seeds were the majority(92.3%).The foreign bodies were taken out under tracheoscope in 349 cases.Tracheotomy was performed in 3 cases.Three patients died.Conclusion: Prompt and correct diagnosis,skillful operation are critical in the treatment of foreign bodies in trachea and bronchus.
