Abstract

It is found through investigation,Jiangsu City Vocational College has some characteristics, such as specialty setting tends to be stable and is wider in coverage, and the correlation degree between specialty layout and industrial layout is high. But limitations also exist in its specialty setting, such as the lower specialty aggregation degree and referring too much specialty categories which mean each specialty is small and scattered, the high convergence in specialty setting, the construction of specialty cluster needing to be perfected, the insufficient market survey on specialty setting, and the slow reflection against market demand for specialty. It is necessary for specialty setting of higher vocational schools to orient the docking industry and implement different development strategies, dock with regional industry development and establish the dynamic specialty adjusting mechanism, construct specialty cluster based on industry and establish the specialty early-warning mechanism.
