Abstract

Regardless of the clinical features or laboratory indicators, the obese women with PCOS were different from PCOS patients. Research showed that the phlegm moisture was significantly associated with the differences, and was an important pathogenic factor. Obese women with PCOS took the deficiency as the fundamental, and the phlegm as the accompanying syndrome type. We would put the base of our exploration of other TCM syndrome types on kidney deficiency and phlegm stasis. Treatment would be concentrated on the formation mechanism of phlegm moisture correlated with obesity and the recovery of the function of reproductive axis taking as the organ. Using medicine would follow the treatment principles of nourishing and resolving phlegm, treating from seeking the source of the formation of phlegm, modifying with the TCM syndrome . We adopted a comprehensive measures of physical therapy and psychological adjustment.
