Clinical Effect of Chinese Medicine on Treatment of Herpes Simplex Keratitis

Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Chinese medicine on herpes simplex keratitis(HSK).Methods:78 cases of HSK were randomly divided into 2 groups,39 cases was in treatment group and 39 cases was in control group.The treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine,and control one with western medicine.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group(94.87%) was higher than that of control group(79.49%),and there were significant difference in two groups(P0.05).The days of healing and improving in treatment group were less than that in control group,and there were significant difference in two groups(P0.01).There was no significant side effect in two groups.Conclusions:Chinese medicine in treating HSK is effective,it can shorten the course of treatment,and worth being utilized widely.
