Abstract
[Objective] To observe the effect of atomization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) on treating herpes simplex keratitis (HSK). [Methods] Thirty (38 eyes) were administered in treatment group and 30(40 eyes) in control group. The efficacy and vision recov-ery of two groups were compared. [Results] There was a significant difference between the curative effect of two groups (χ2=2.2852,P 0.05). The curative effect of treatment group was higher than that of control group. There was a significant difference between the vision before and after treatment in two groups (P0.05). The vision improvement of treatment group was better than that of control group after treatment (t=2.2852,P0.05). [Conclusion] The effect of atomization of TCM was better. The recurrent rate of treatment group was lower than that of control group after followed up for one year.
