Abstract
Flood and drought are the predominant natural disasters in Hunan Province. With the theory and method of natural geography the geographical regularity of flood and drought in the province is discovered in types, features and temporal land and spatial dimensions according to the data from recent several decades. It can be a scientific basis for protecting and controlling the disasters.
