Effect of Pb Stress on Physiological Characteristics of Wheat Seedlings

Abstract

In order to clarify the effect of Pb stress on physiological characteristics of wheat seedlings,its physiological indexes of Chinese Spring were studied.The results showed that chlorophyll content increased with low concentration Pb stress.With the increasing concentration of Pb,chlorophyll content and CAT activity decreased respectively.MDA content and POD activity obviously increased respectively.It also proved that chlorophyll content and CAT activity were distinctly suppressed,and MDA content and POD activity were significantly promoted by high concentration Pb stress.
