Abstract
Objective To discuss the relationship between the percentages of lymphocyte apoptosis and the level of CD~+_4T lymphocyte in HIV/AIDS patients.Method The technique of flow cytometry was applied to detect apoptosis and CD~+_4 T lymphocyte counts in HIV/AIDS patients.Result The statistical difference was found in the rate of lymphocyte apoptosis among these two groups(F=898,P0.01),showing AIDSHIV infectedcontrol group(q_(12)=46,q_(13)=58,q_(23)=12,P0.01);statistical significance was also found in CD~+_4T lymphocyte counts(F=13 270,P0.01),showing control groupHIV infectedAIDS(q_(12)=33,q_(13)=203,q_(23)=185,P0.01).Conclusion The study shows certain correlation between CD~+_4 T lymphocyte level and lymphocyte apoptosis in HIV/AIDS patients, providing a useful clue for further research.
