Clinical analysis of 135 cases using mifepristone and misoprostol for termination of early pregnancy

Objective To analyze the effects of mifepristone combined with misoprostol for termination of early pregnancy,and analyze the clinical effect after abortion hemorrhage and occurrence of adverse reaction.Methods All of 270 women of medical abortion were selected from May 2010 to 2011 December in our hospital,and were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group.Treatment group of 135 cases were treated with mifepristone and misoprostol therapy,and 135 cases in the control group were only treated with mifepristone.Results The patients in the treatment group had 130 cases of complete abortion,5 cases of incomplete abortion,and the treatment group got a significantly higher complete abortion rate.The contraction to the embryo sac discharge time,average bleeding time and bleeding volume of treatment group were significantly less than those in the control group.Some patients had partial dizziness,nausea,vomiting,abdominal pain and other symptoms,and improved without special treatment.Conclusion Mifepristone Combined with misoprostol for termination of early pregnancy abortion is simple,economical,effective,and applicable to a variety of age in women of childbearing age.
