The recent progress of the application of DNA molecular markers in various aspects of rice genetics were reviewed,including genetic mapping,comparative genomics,genertic tagging and cloning,species diversity,examination of genetic relatedness,marker assisted selection.It also discussed many questions to be solved and prospects for future.
