Abstract
The effects of factors such as the amount of dyes, alcohols, the pH adjusting agent, and surfactants on fluorescence properties of the fluorescent yellow dye were investigated. The fluorescence intensity of the fluorescent yellow dye was tested under different experimental conditions. And the test results showed that the fluorescence intensity increased firstly with an increasing dye concentration, and then decreased when the mass fraction of dye exceeded 0.6%.When the mass fraction of dye was 0.6%,the fluorescence intensity reached a highest value. The fluorescence intensity was reduced about 10% when a 3% alcohol solvent was added to the dye.The fluorescence intensity reduced with an increasing pH value, and remained unchanged when the pH value was 7~9.The dye fluorescence intensity tended to increase after addition of an appropriate amount of surfactant.
