In The Hurt Locker—the best movie at the 82nd Oscars,the background and the story are based on the ongoing war between USA and Iraq,thus it is necessary to make a breakthrough in the narrative of movies and the expression of themes with respect to the depiction of such an actual historical event. In a word,the movie allows much for further interpretation by researchers in its choice of war motif,its portrayal of human psychological state in times of war and its utilization of narrative modes.
