Abstract

Mozi,an eminent educator in ancient China,developed great ideas of education.His educational content and educational approaches occupied a unique place in Chinese ancient education.He laid emphasis in moral education,scientific and technological education,military education and education of students' critical abilities.As for teaching methodology,he paid attention to fostering students' independent thinking and their creativeness.This paper probes into his educational thoughts from seven aspects.
