The changes of different organs after ischemia/reperfusion injury of intestine in rabbits

Objective To investigate the effect of ischemia/reperfusion injury of intestine in rabbits' organs.Methods Ten health rabbits were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group(n =5)and control group(n =5).The pathological changes of liver,kidney,lung,myocardium and stomach intestine were observed.The biochemical index including MDA,MDA,XOD,SOD were detected in both groups.Results The obvious pathological changes of liver,kidney,lung,myocardium and stomach intestine were found in experimental group.The contents of ALT,creatinine,BALF protein,MDA,XOD in experimental group were significantly higher than those of control group(P 0.05),however the content of SOD in experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group(P 0.05).Conclusion The ischemia/reperfusion injury of intestine in rabbits can result in the injury of liver,kidney,lung,myocardium and stomach intestine,which may be mainly due to the damage effect of oxygen free radicals on different organs.
