Abstract

As a selective alpha-adrenoceptor blocker, tamsulosin is widely used for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) to ameliorate lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS). This review describes the progress of tamsulosin in BPH treatment.
